As Broker and Owner, she spents most of her days and nights working on the business and making things happen. She is married and has 3 boys, 16, 16 and 9. You can stop by the office in Lehigh and most days you will see her two Chihuahuas that spend thier days at the office with her. Additionally she has a Min Pin, 6 turtles and a Bearded Dragon. When not working thier family can be found either camping, riding thier Harley's or on the water if the weather is nice.
To give you Tammy's history will tell you alot about who she is. Born and raised in CT, she worked her way in the Hospitality Industry to eventually become a General Manager. The diverse jobs she held prior to becoming a GM made her a great one. She held the positions of night auditor, Sales and Marketing Director, Banquet director, Assistant GM and eventually General Manager. Tammy moved to Suffolk County in Long Island where she took 6 months to turn a negative to a 6 milliion dollar profit. The next chapter in her life included being recruted by a company that was purchasing 4 Hotel properties in the Keys and in Key West. They wanted Tammy and her husband who was a maintenence engineer for 20+ years to oversee the operations in these resort properties. They made the decision to take the position and off to the Keys they went.
After the move, the whole deal fell through. Tammy and Jose decided that answering and working in the corporation life was done. They decided that it was time to stop making other people rich. They set off to be entenpreneurs. In a 7 year span, they owned a Dry Cleaners, Laundrymat, Deli, Consignment Store, and a Mailing/Computer Center with cell phones and beepers (very popular then), and a property management. While running these different businesses, the couple desired to help children in some way. They got licensed to be an emergency Foster Care Home for Monroe County DCF and spent a lot of spare time caring for the 75 or so children that came though their home over that period of time. They enjoyed taking what little time they had with the children and flurishing the kids with love and toys and clothes. They wanted thier short time with the kids to make an impact that would hopfully give them hope for a future. In the course of all the foster care, two of the foster kids eventually turned to adoption placements so they wanted to get out of Key West and raise the two boys somewhere more appropriate for raising kids.
That's what ultimately brought this family to Lee County. That was over 13 years ago now and since then the third child was born and was a gift as Tammy was not able to get pregnant prior to that point. Tammy started AAA Realty back in 2005 in her home so that she could raise her baby at home but still work. Eventually about 5 years ago they took on AAA Realty Lehigh Acres office and 3 years ago in Fort Myers. AAA Realty is a home town Real Estate Company with our customer service being what is most important. Tammy learned back in the days of Hotel Management that her guests were the most important thing and treating them with utmost respect but also being down to earth and give a home like feel was very important to the company. Now 7 years later, the company has grown and continues to flurish due to the experience and efforts of all the staff at AAA.
